About Laojunshan National Park

Located 60 kilometers from the city of Lijiang, Laojunshan National Park (老君山国家公园) is a showcase for the biological and cultural diversity of northwest Yunnan the Three Parallel Rivers UNESCO Areas. Laojunshan is home to 168 endangered plant and animal species including the endangered Yunnan Golden Monkey. It also boasts 10 percent of the world's rhododendron species.

Fantastic hikes amid stunning scenery. Still not that much visited by domestic or foreign tourists despite being a great place for bird watcing and just getting away from it all.
