Running the website

We use necessary session, security and language cookies, and process connection information and server logs to operate and protect the website. These necessary functions do not depend on analytics consent. Account details and information you choose to submit are used to provide the relevant feature; content submitted for publication may be public.

Optional analytics

We load Google Analytics only after you accept. It measures public-page visits, broad referral/device information, engagement, ordinary terms on public search results and outbound-link domains. We do not send signed-in account identifiers, contact/account form contents, complete URL queries or fragments, and do not load analytics on account, administration or private-message pages. Advertising permissions remain off. Google receives connection information needed to process analytics requests.

The necessary __Host-dl_consent cookie remembers your choice for up to six months. If cookies are blocked, session storage can remember rejection within the current tab. Optional _ga analytics cookies are also configured for up to six months. Google Analytics user/event-level retention is currently set to two months; aggregate reports may remain available longer.
